PfC Conference 2014

Turning the Tide – Methods for lasting Social Impact

Program Speakers Partners Videos

gamlelogen_webTo achieve the World We Want – we need to turn the tide

In 2014 we had the pleasure of hosting around 350 participants and speakers from which we have received positive feedback. The event secured a great deal of media and press-coverage, demonstrating the interest in spreading the word about collaborative efforts to create positive change and social innovation.

50 distinguished speakers told their stories of change, their motivation, their major challenges and their most valued triumphs. With broad experience and unique expertise they challenged us to act for a more safe, sustainable and stable society.

The conference took place on May 15th with a full day program including plenary sessions with keynote speakers followed by panel discussions. After lunch, parallel sessions explored a range of different topics in smaller rooms, to encourage interaction from the participants. May 14th offered additional seminars on democracy in challenging situations. There were two main themes: Democracy during conflict -with a focus on Ukraine and Building a democratic nation– with a focus on Myanmar.  Click here for more information.
